The Academy of Europe’s Board of trustees (BoT) has approved the election of 470 acclaimed international scholars as its new members.
On the 24th of May 2022, the Board of trustees was honoured to authorized the election into its membership 470 eminent international scholars.
These scholars were elected following a rigorous peer review process.
The distribution of new members elected across the four classes of the Academy is as follows:
Class of the Humanities (composed of 7 Sections) – 91 members elected
Class of the Social and Societal Sciences (6 Sections) – 70 members elected
Class of the Exact Sciences (5 Sections) – 111 members elected
Class of the Life Sciences (5 Sections) – 198 members elected

The next membership nomination cycle will open on October 1st, 2022.
