All is now set for the Global Young Academy’s ‘2022 International Conference on Young Scientists’ holding in June, reports Abdulsalam MAHMUD.
Japan has concluded arrangement to ensure a smooth hosting of the Global Young Academy, GYA’s, ‘2022 International Conference of Young Scientists’.
Japan has integrated scientific and traditional perspectives for over 150 years, and offers an inspiring location for the global community to progress the revitalization of science
Conference theme
Themed, “Harmonising Reason with Sensibility: Regenerating science for an inclusive and sustainable future”, the conference will begin on 14 July 2022.
It will close on 17 June 2022.
To be hosted by the Young Academy of Japan and Kyushu University, the International Conference is supported by the Science Council of Japan (SCJ).
Panel sessions
Panels will be held at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, for people already living in Japan, with online participation for GYA members, alumni and partner organisations from around the world.
During the hybrid conference, delegates will have the opportunity to come together with members of the GYA and National Young Academies around the world, as well as international professionals and stakeholders, to lead evidence-based, interdisciplinary and intergenerational dialogue.
