An initiative that gives a voice to science experts.
“Mobilising the knowledge and resources of the ISC’s scientific community, Global Science TV will convene internationally renowned scientific experts as it presents thought-provoking discussions on the pressing events of our times. Hosted by Australian media personality Nuala Hafner, the 15 minute conversational episodes will entertain and inform viewers on the most notable scientific issues that society faces today.”
That is what you can read on the homepage of the new Global Science TV, launched at the beginning of June 2020 by ISC and the Australian Academy of Science.
But more than reading, you will like to watch the videos of this webcast. The first ones feature Daya Reddy, president of ISC, Mary Robinson, Ismael Serageldin and Vint Cerf, the three current ISC patrons. And also Caltech astrophysicist Brittany Kamai, one of the leaders of the #shutdownstem movement.
You can watch these video from ISC website, but also on Youtube, where you can suscribe to the channel, so that you won’t miss any new video.
