UNAM Foundation is a union, absolutely inclusive, of those who make up the university community: students, academics, workers, administration officials and alumni; and of those who consider themselves friends.

Mission

To support the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in the achievement of its three basic objectives: teaching, research and dissemination of culture, and to strengthen its image through contributions of an economic, social or moral nature, as well as to cooperate with it in its tasks of liaison with the public, private and social sectors.

Vision

To become a national and international reference in the tasks of enabling many young Mexicans to pursue higher education, and thus contribute to achieve fairer objectives of social inclusion, providing better opportunities for secondary and higher education.

Principles

The Foundation is an organization established in favor of the causes and objectives of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and to strengthen its image as our highest university, both in Mexico and abroad. It is alien to all political and religious activities; it has no profit purposes, and is characterized by transparency in the use of the resources entrusted to it for the fulfillment of its purposes.
