Foro Química y Sociedad main objective is to cooperate and establish a direct and lasting relationship with society raising awareness about the advances in chemistry and highlighting the value of what this scientific area develops for all aspects of people’s lives, the planet’s conservation, scientific and technological innovation and its industrial development.
Foro Química y Sociedad represents seven organizations from different areas including academia, science, industry, professionals and workers that share not only the love and passion for chemistry, but also the hope of promoting science as a tool to promote knowledge, innovation, sustainability and global development, through a permanent dialogue with society as the common voice of chemistry in research, scientific development and technological innovation. This task positions it as a source of rigorous, independent and quality information for both the media and society as a whole.
Chemistry contributes to generating new solutions, products, systems, applications and technologies that change people’s lives, ensures and improves social welfare and creates a sustainable future for the planet. Foro Química y Sociedad is aware of the importance of promoting excellence and talent. Therefore, it greatly value the professionals who are dedicated daily to chemistry but also those young talents entering this field, as they are a source of inspiration and motivation to continue and shape the future.
