President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly
Csaba Kőrösi is a Hungarian diplomat. He as President of the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations between September 2022 and September 2023. He was previously Director of Environmental Sustainability in the Office of the President of Hungary.
Csaba Kőrösi joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1983 and has served in various countries, including Greece, Israel and Libya. He was also Hungary’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and served as Vice-President of the General Assembly from 2011 to 20121. He was Assistant Secretary of State for Security Policy, Multilateral Diplomacy and Human Rights.
Csaba Kőrösi studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, the Institute of International Relations at the University of Leeds, the Truman Institute for Middle East Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University.
