Coordinator of the communications of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Unit & Environment Coordinator, CERN
Since April 2022, Anna Cook coordinates the communications of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Unit alongside her role as Environment Coordinator, with as key focus the production of CERN’s biennial Environment Reports.
Anna Cook holds a BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences, and a MSc (Med) Immunology. She joined CERN some 20 years ago in the IT Department, working on the EU-funded project Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) which spanned six years, including two years as IT Department Planning Officer.
She moved into the field of Human resources in 2010, specifically Talent Acquisition until January 2021, with the role deputy Head, in parallel leading HR & TA communication, branding and outreach activities. She then managed communications, reporting and analytics for the CERN HR Department until March 2022.
