The University for Science Consortium is an academic organization based in Mexico, supported by the National University of Mexico (UNAM) Foundation. Academic institutions and societies from Mexico and abroad form part of the consortium.

The consortium for the past three years has been organizing seminar cycles, discussion forums and science documentaries on the basic science disciplines. The events are open available through the UNAM Foundation streaming platforms and the science documentaries are broadcasted live by UNAM Tv network in public television. Conference speakers come from different universities and research centres of the consortium and collaborating universities.

At the occasion of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development, the Universities for Science Consortium seminar cycle and discussion forums focus on Basic Science for Sustainable Development.
