Materials are the key components behind technological development for meeting sustainable goals such as clean and green energy, clean air and water, good health, infrastructures, etc. It is thus important to understand the fundamentals behind material chemistry and physics, as well as understand the engineering challenges of their scalability and integration into products.

This conference aims to deliberate upon this critical aspect of emerging materials having the translational potential to meet UN SDGs. The event will see participation from national and international researchers from academia and industry, with a balanced representation of age, gender, geography, and expertise, to come together to deliberate upon advancements in materials, status and challenges for sustainable development.
