2022 Marie Curie Science Camp
The “2022 Marie Curie Science Camp” took place from July 8th to 11th at the Linkou campus of National Taiwan Normal University. A total of 96 high school students (equally split between males and females) and 7 national high school teachers were selected to participate. The camp included 5 special lectures, an intimate midsummer night dialogue with scientists and entrepreneurs, 5 practical experiments, lunch with scientists from TSMC, visits to laboratories at Academia Sinica, group competitions, and presentations of achievements, making it an unforgettable and exciting event.
This event was co-organized by Chang Chau-Ting Memorial Foundation, National Taiwan Normal University, Academia Sinica, and CSLT. Through the thoughtfully planned activities, the Camp cultivated students’ interest in science, enabling young participants to absorb extensive, profound, and systematic knowledge in chemistry-related areas. This would in turn help nurture a new generation of young people with forward-looking perspectives and professional knowledge, who will contribute their learning to the society, and even to all humanity in the future.
