World Young Scientist Summit 2022
<p>The World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) aims at promoting a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind. Themed <em>”Converging the World’s Talents, Creating a Better Future”</em>, it has been held for three consecutive sessions. In 2020, UN Secretary-General Guterres sent a congratulatory letter to the young scientists attending the WYSS.</p>
<p>In 2022, the Summit will take “basic science for sustainable development” as the annual topic, will highlight the key areas of scientific and cultural exchanges such as youth and the future, nature and the environment, science and the arts, and will design five major segments: “Grand Gathering·Appreciation”, “Academy·Integration”, Dialogue Win-win”, “Economy·Common Prosperity” and “Wisdom·Sharing”. Relying on the implementation path of “cross-industry, integration, intellectual exchange and innovation”, the Summit will continue to carry out international, youth-oriented and innovative scientific and cultural and People-to-People exchanges and jointly promote the construction of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.</p>
<p style=”font-weight: 400;”>In the design of the agenda, the Summit adheres to the concept of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind and helps to build a Community of Life for Man and Nature and a Community of Shared Future for Science, Technology, and Innovation for Youths. By closely following the UN IYBSSD 2022 Plan, the Summit further focuses on the UN 2030 sustainable development goals and highlights the key areas of scientific and cultural exchanges such as youth and the future, nature and the environment, science and the arts.</p>
