Secretary General
Luc Allemand is a French professional science communicator and project leader. He serves as general Secretary for IYBSSD 2022.
He is running the web platform about science produced in Africa and by Africans Afriscitech. With Afriscitech, he organizes conferences dedicated to the young African scientific diaspora : YAS_E in Europe, and YAS_NA in North America.
He has been a communication consultant with the Next Einstein Forum, the CIMPA, the Association pour la promotion scientifique de l’Afrique, the Société française de Physique, etc.
He is also a journalist and a writer.
He got a PhD in electrochemistry from University Pierre-et-Marie-Curie (today Sorbonne Université) in Paris.
